SONATA represented at the The 3rd CleanSky Conference

CleanSky ITN, Network for Cloud Computing Eco-System, is a so called Initial Training Network (ITN) that aims to develop innovative ideas in the emerging areas within the “eco-system” of cloud computing: data center evolution, consolidation and service migration, and beyond, via structural training of young researchers.

Last week they organised the 3rd CleanSky Conference in Göttingen (Germany), co-located with the NetSys 2017 conference. Please, visit this page for more information regarding this conference: http://netsys17.uni-goettingen.de/

One of SONATA´s consortium members, Professor Holger Karl, was invited to give a presentation on " Distributed applications: A challenge for systems, networks, and application development" where he explained how SONATA and its microservices-based orchestration can contribute to making this eco-system more flexible, more adaptive to user demands, and to spread it beyond the confines of cloud computing into in-network computing as well.
